Mudslide Kennels

The dogs behind DGC.

An independent working-dog program focused on capable, disciplined field partners.

The kennel identity

A dog program of my own.

Mudslide Kennels is the name carried by my independent working-dog program. The hunting business is DGC Quail Hunts, but the dogs continue under the Mudslide Kennels identity.

The standard is practical: develop dogs that hunt with purpose, respond to the handler, and contribute to a safe, memorable day in the field.

And then came Wink.

Wink was my first cocker and became the cornerstone of the string I have built since.

His drive, responsiveness, and retrieving work represent the finish I expect from a capable field dog. He is also the natural visual centerpiece of DGC because he represents experience applied to something new built with my own hands.
